Ds3 Old Wolf Curved Sword. Obviously i think that may be the case in higher sl. I made the character with the sole purpose of using the sword because its weapon art is sexy despite consensus saying the sword really cannot dish out damage.
Exile has high damage when infused with sharp (another difference), continues to move forward when using the weapon art, it can also be prone for backstabs if you miss. Obviously i think that may be the case in higher sl. Meanwhile a heavy exile with 66/16 gets 604/650ar, a quality old wolf is only 530/540.
Sharp is your best bet and you can get away with 16 str if you are ok with only 2 handing it. Old wolf curved sword has pretty decent ar on a dex build. Received by reaching rank 1 of watchdogs of farron.
This thing is ridiculously strong. Curved sword bearing the soul of the old wolf that stays with the watchdogs of farron. It's like he said, mostly worse than others of it's class, but you can chain the weapon art afer the first hit.
Much higher ar than the other curved greatswords, in exchange for being awfully heavy. (you must hand in 10 wolf's blood swordgrass) Any answer but pkcs or demon scar is wrong.
I've done most of my playthrough with the old wolf curved sword, and in both pvp and pve you really won't benefit much from the hp/damage build up since the sword is so slow. R1 > r1 is the best in terms of roll catch potential as the recovery is low. Curved sword bearing the soul of the old wolf that stays with the watchdogs of farron.
Mans asking for that 2020 update as if we had a patch lol. Pontiff knight curved sword will always be the best. Click on the xbox one section.
